Purchasing Your Custom Texting Number

Before you can start sending text messages from IXACT Contact, you must first purchase your custom texting phone number. All text messages sent from IXACT Contact will come from your purchased custom number, not your own mobile number. Before purchasing your custom number, if you have not already done so, you will need to enter and verify your own mobile phone number.

Your custom texting phone number costs $5.00 per month, which includes 100 texting credits each month at no additional charge. Upon purchasing your number, your credit card will immediately be charged $5.00 (plus applicable taxes). You will then be automatically charged $5.00 each subsequent month, unless you cancel the texting service. Additional texting credits can be purchased if required (see Purchasing Texting Credits).

To enter and verify your personal mobile number (if you have not already done so):

  1. Enter your own mobile phone number.

  2. Click Send Verification Code.

  3. Your 4-digit verification will be sent to your mobile phone as a text message. Enter the code and click Verify.

Note  If your personal mobile number changes, be sure to immediately update and verify your new phone number by clicking Change Mobile Number.

You can now purchase your custom texting phone number:

  1. Click Purchase Custom Number.
  2. Enter the area code you would like for your phone number and click Search.

    Note  There may not be any available phone numbers with your preferred area code. Try other valid area codes for your area until the search returns available phone numbers.

  3. Select the number you want to purchase.
  4. Read and agree to our Acceptable Use Policy.
  5. Click Purchase.
